"NEVER DOUBT THAT A SMALL GROUP OF THOUGHTFUL, COMMITTED CITIZENS CAN CHANGE THE WORLD; INDEED IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT EVER HAS."
-MARGARET MEAD
"Education is the movement from darkness into light."

Executive Director
Mindy joined HPHH December 2020 as a board member/secretary, jumping in with her whole heart. She joined HPHH after seeing the difference our agency makes in Hutchinson County, especially at Borger High School where she has worked for over seven years before becoming the Executive Director. Her desire to help fits perfectly in line with the HPHH mission and goals. Mindy is married and loves to write as a hobby.
Administrative Assistant
Adriana joined HPHH as an assistant to the director because she want to help her community. She is married with two young children, loves K-pop and attends as many concerts as possible. Not only is Adriana bilingual, she's also studying other languages. She loves thrift shopping and working out.
Board President
Brittni loves to give back to the community through volunteer work with various local organizations and she jumped into HPHH with both feet. She has a Master's degree in Psychology and is an Academic Advisor and Psychology professor. Her top two passions are education and animals, and her hobbies include reading and spending time outdoors.
Parliamentarian
Courtney's dedication to the community is why she joined HPHH. She loves to help and goes above and beyond in her role as board president. Her commitment to the success of our mission makes her invaluable to our agency!
Courtney is married with six kids. She raises chickens, enjoys cross stitch, and is a baker and cake decorator. She loves spending time with her family and working in her yard.
Board Treasurer/Money and Me Instructor
Because of her years as a teacher, Lori offers a unique perspective to our board. Her enthusiasm is contagious and you will see her at the HPHH office often, lending a hand to the executive director.
Lori is married to her high school sweetheart, Craig, has two kids, loves to travel and is also a therapy dog handler. If she's not volunteering with HPHH, she's probably volunteering with Stewie, the therapy dog.

La-Shana Taylor is what we would call a "Legacy". Her grandmother was with HPHH back when we were a food bank. She says her grandmother would pick her up in the mornings and take her to HPHH to help hand out food to others - "HPHH is where and how I learned to help others". La-Shana is a fluid painter amongst other areas of artistry. She is also a youth pastor at the Borger Christian Center where her mom head pastors. She has a big family of 4 siblings (2 sisters and 2 brothers). She enjoys learning new things, is a student, and loves meeting new people.
Board Member
Cody Duncan isn't a "Legacy" though his wife was on the board of HPHH a while back. He has been a teacher of multiple subjects in Hutchinson County since the '90's and has been in charge of the Competitive Speech Debate program and the Theatre Program at Borger High School since 2001. Cody also teachers Professional Communication (life skills communication). He is certified in Communication, Theatre, Government, English, English Language Arts, and G/T Secondary Education. He has a BA in Political Science from WTSU. Cody has a deep dedication making Borger a better corner of the world and believes he can help with that by being on the board of HPHH. He has many varied interest and hobbies, including gardening, vermiculture, pets, reading, history, music and Shark Week. He looks forward to working with HPHH in helping people in this county to better their lives.
