HPHH is an valuable resource for the Hutchinson County Drug Court. We offer assistance to drug court participants in several areas including: obtaining a birth certificate, getting a driver's license or photo ID, securing a job, establishing a budget, and getting a GED if they need one. The Drug Court offers counseling, mentorship, and a stable support system for people coming out of active addiction.
Our agency offers assistance for students in need of textbooks for dual credit classes and students taking welding classes at FPC that need a little extra help with supplies. We also provide scholarships for dual credit students in need of tuition assistance. We provide free head lice kits for any student in Hutchinson County.
The DPS office can be frustrating if you aren't sure what documents to bring or what documents will work for proof of residence. Not only can our agency help with obtaining a state photo ID, but we also assist with setting an appointment, and taking a driver's education course for clients 18 and over. Contact us. Our most success program is GED assistance. Each year, HPHH provides the reception for Frank Phillips College GED graduation ceremony. We are always excited and celebrate with our clients that finish all four portions of the GED test and providing the reception for this ceremony is just one way we make sure our clients are being celebrated in a BIG way. We want to thank Frank Phillips College for the fantastic partnership we have with them!
We also have clients that have completed courses such as cosmetology, welding, and nursing. These clients are now working in Hutchinson County earning a sustainable income.

What does career and education assistance look like? We're glad you asked!
Our agency helps clients obtain a certified birth certificate for the purpose of getting a driver's license or photo ID for employment, and we make sure you documents are in order before you show up at the DPS office! We also help future college students fill out FAFSA. We'll make sure you applied to all the colleges listed on your FAFSA and our director has been known to tag along when a client needs one on one help enrolling in college. Let us take the stress off you with not only helping you purchase a needed book for class, and we will even walk around campus with you to show you your classes if needed.
We offer GED assistance, too. Our agency will covers the cost of GED tests and any books you might need to get your GED.
To top it off, we have budgeting classes, too. No, it's not as boring as it sounds, we promise!
We also help with career advancing classes such as phlebotomy (FAFSA can't be used for these classes), and we provide free head lice kits to any student in Hutchinson County in grades K through 12 with.
